We're still seeing some intermittent issues on this end as well and are actively looking into it. I'll post an update as soon we're clear of the IP issue.

Still banned, after more than 5 hours now.

It is now nearly 7pm on the west coast and I still have this problem of my IP address being banned.

Ever since that spamming that Motet reported we have this issue. Is it related?

This is indeed related to the spamming issue we encountered earlier today. We've been focusing on delivering Finale v25 today, but will continue pushing to get this particular forum issue resolved. I know that the older forums are still a really valuable tool for you!

IP banned, this morning from France...

Same from here in Scotland this morning.

I got through briefly, but then when I tried to navigate from the Home page saw the banned message again and this now seems to be permanent (I've tried several times during the last half hour). I'd like to be able to read impressions and comments on the new version of Finale from forum members, in case I might be tempted…

I wanted to upgrade.  Tried to find info about new features and am now banned from the Forum. ?????

Still banned here, apart from a brief window of opportunity on another computer which has now been banned as well.

I am not much inclined to download the demo of v25, let alone buy it, until I have read on the old forum how others more computer savvy than me have got on with it. Not only does it seem unlikely that I can get through readily to read any such assessments, but it also seems unlikely as things are at present that other 'banned' users will even be able to log their assessments.

Perhaps someone from MM will let us all know when this problem has been fully and permanently solved.

All seems OK now with the old forum - I hope - on all my computers, and has been so for a while.

The timing made this more disconcerting that most similar web failures.

Anyway, I can now follow the assessment of v25 by various forum members. I expect I'll wait for Jari's compatible plug-ins before using it myself.

To confirm what David and Mike have found, our forums are back up and running. Let us know if any of you continue to experience any sort of IP restrictions upon entering the forum.
