I am trying to insert two groups of quarter note Tuplets.  (3 quarter notes in  the space of 2) .  The first group is OK but the second group leaves an 8th rest hanging on the next bar.  Do you have an example you could email me?  My email  is mdesah@aol.com

And for security reasons, you should not post personal info such as your e-mail (even though I understand why you did it). The moderators will likely remove it.

Set your default for three quarters in the space of two quarters. Enter the first quarter note, tap Numberpad 9, and enter the next two quarters.
