Finale .0.0.7722 OS10.10.5 Mac

 

I am trying to completely eliminate everything except the note heads. I can disappear everything except the rests, which even when invisified, still appear on the screen.  Does anyone know how I can remove those rests from the screen completely but retain their presence to hold note heads in their proper places spatially?  Thank you.

Hidden rests do not print. You can probably set the opacity or color of hidden items so that you do not see them on screen either if that is necessary.

Yes indeed. That did it.  I had to uncheck the "hidden notes and rests" feature under View - show.  Thank you.
