I installed finale version 27 in February 2024, and it worked fine then. Now, today it crashes/freezes on start up. I have microsoft windows on a Dell pc

Reboot.

 

If that doesn't do it, use the Submit a request link at the top of the page to send this to MM Support.

Before you do, there is a conflict somewhere. Something changed.  You need to find it and resolve it. Likely causes are the printer, sound, and video drivers. You need to update them. And, try disabling the print spooler in Windows.
