Hi I'm using Finale v26 on Windows 11. I was pleased to discover that I can incorporate an audio track in studio view along with the score but I've noticed that whenever I play the music not starting from the beginning of the score the audio track gets displaced and loses sync with the score. Very frustrating. Any cure? What's the reason for this bug?

I wonder whether

- Human Playback is on?

- there are expressions that change the tempo?

Human Playback is on, on standard. There is no tempo alteration, it's just when I stop playback and scroll the score and then resume playback I can see it messes around with the position of the audio track - the wave diagram changes, and then it's no longer in sync.

Is the playback in sync when Human Playback is off?

I've turned Human Playback to: none, to no effect.

On a closer look I now see that whenever playback doesn't start from the beginning the audio track skips a measure back, unsyncing. I always have to start at the beginning of the piece in order to hear it properly.
