Finale v25 installed successfully, but "Running package scripts..." while "Installing Garritan Instruments for Finale" looks to be stuck with a dialog titled, "Copying files (GIFF)" and having text "20 Ymhquad rl.data" and a horizontal progress bar showing ~25% complete.

I'll gratefully entertain your thoughts/suggestions on how to troubleshoot this.

Hi Timothy,

 

It sounds like there is either some sort of conflicting application or background task blocking the install, or there is some sort of odd storage space issue. 

 

I will go ahead and open a support ticket for you so we can gather some diagnostic files.

If your GIFF installer is hanging while installing samples, I would recommend contacting our Customer Success team for further assistance. We have some workarounds that I would expect would get you up and running! You can contact our Customer Success team using the Submit a request link at the top of this page.

Same problem here.  Waiting to hear how to fix this...  meanwhile I cannot do anything else on my computer!
