I have a problem that I have been experiencing with Finale going back a few versions and updates. After the two measure count-in, the first note that I play often does not get recorded (notated). Instead, there is a rest. It seems that I have to be EXACTLY on the first beat in order to have the first note recorded after the count-in.

I have a very robust system. I've tried different settings including decreasing (and increasing) the buffer size. Still, this problem persists, even with the current version of Finale.

Here is my computer and set-up:

Mac Pro (2009/2010 refurbished - 3.33 GHz, 12 core), 32 GBs RAM, 8 internal SSDs and 2 external SSDs, NVIDIA Quadra K5000 video card, MOTU's 2408 MK3 audio card, AKAI MPK88 USB-based MIDI keyboard controller, Finale 25.1.0.232.

Might there be something with this set-up that could be causing this problem? (Like I mentioned, it's a fairly robust system. For example, I can edit HD video with ease.) Any problem-solving methods around this issue?
