Hello All,

I am new to this software.  I work in higher Ed and received a request from a music student to add Finale 27 to our Citrix environment.  I can't find much info on finale and VDI.  Is it supported?  Has anyone implemented this and has it working?  I have the application installed and getting a license from the license server.  My issue is that on open, Error Code 7 - Finale's audio engine failed to load appears on a good portion of the computers I have tested.

The application is running on an app server (windows server 2019) with no audio drivers installed.  When a user is connected to a session on the app server their local input/output devices get mapped to the session.  In the audio setup menu, I can see the speakers and mic associated with my computer. My testing and results so far;

-Personal Windows 10 computer - works, no error

-Macbook air OSX 14.5 - gets error

-work issued Win 11 - gets error

Colleague in the campus library tested on 2 of his public computers, running win 11 - worked on both

Student who made the request is using Windows 10 - gets the error

Oddly, on my 2 machines that give the error, I can open the firefox app that is also published in Citrix > go to youtube and hear audio there.  However, on those same machines if I go to finale > MIDI/Audio > device setup > audio setup > test audio, no sound.

Any help or a pointing in the right direction would be a huge help.
