I have been a Finale user since 2011 and I purchased the latest version in 2020. I was not informed at the time of purchase that what I paid for would become obsolete. It seems to me that Finale should provide more than a 15% discount for those who will now have to purchase new notation software. The expense, not to mention the enormous inconvenience, is simply not fair, not ethical. I have had to postpone upgrading my OS so that I can still use and revise my Finale files. You should offer Dorico for a 75% discount and a complete tutorial, free, for modifying current Finale files to be transferred to Dorico.
If I bought a car and was told some years post puchase that the car would simply become obsolete, I would find it absurd, and probably sue the seller. This is a matter of business ethics and I think you have screwed your loyal customers with the move.
