A staff in my score will sometimes optimize / hide, and sometimes won't. I'm at a loss. The same staff attributes apply to the staff throughout the entire document, yet on some pages it hides and not on others.

The problem with applying a Hide Staff Style is that it prevents me adjusting the staff heights of the staff around the "hidden" one, so I'm trying to avoid that.
