Is there a way to shift a block of measures by 1 or 2 notes across measures? I want to realign the notes to different beats. And will the chords follow them? I want to move the first note to the last beat of a new 1st measure and shift the next few measures over 1 note. I'd like the chords to follow.  I made a copy of the song segment, but there is no place to add the file here !! ??

I'd add a few measures at the end to take up the notes moved past the original end of the file, and I'd try this on a copy of your file just to be safe; but you can select whatever notes you want and drag the selection where you wish.

Select the group of measures, and drag the group right or left. You will see a frame around the group to help you position it properly.
