For those interested in playing classical or pop music,. The abbey roads CFX is perfect. However, there are some of us who like to play pop/soft rock/rock music on piano. Most of pop/soft rock music from the 70's and 80's featured the Yamaha C7, which would be the C7X today. Is there any way that Garritan could record a VST for this piano for those of us into playing pop/soft rock music. Is there any way to use the Abbey Road CFX software for playing pop, soft rock, and rock music?

It depends on the piece I guess. I personally leave it on default classic, and I have a friend who does all of my effects for me in post. But I suggest playing around with all of the presets, effects and other settings to get the sound you're looking for. For more of a synth sound, use more reverb space. For more of that rock sound, maybe something like the jazz club setting and any way to really brighten up that sound a little. Soft rock I would just use the defaults as most soft rock songs sound like recorded grands anyway. Each song has its own character. It's about finding the settings that give the piano that character.

Have you tried adding EQ to the track?
