I am trying to use a viola da gamba in a score. Since there is no such instrument listed in Garritan, I'm substituting cello for it. However it plays back an octave lower. I am using the F clef, bass clef, not the F plus octave.
Now another problem just happened, a soprano part using the treble clef, G, plays back an octave lower. What is going on? I re dowloaded the Garritan files yesterday hoping that would help. Not so.
