Tools not loading with High Sierra

I'm having a problem with the entry tools not loading. Neither Speedy Entry nor Step Entry will load.

This is happening on files created using both tools earlier, but today I can't seem to get either to work.

The menus for the tools fail to load, and they are completely non-functional.

Any ideas?

Finale v.25.5

Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.5

Update: The tools seem to work in Scroll View, but not in Page View. Nor do they work in Scroll View after I've used Page View.

Have you tried recreating the preference files?

Thank you. I did it, but the problem remains. Appears to be a serious conflict between Finale and the latest High Sierra update.

Also: Special Tools will load its menu, but the tools are non-functional.

At this point, you should send it in to tech support. Use the Submit a Request tab at the top of the page.
