How do I get Cross-staff plug-in?

I use Finale Mac version 2012, and in the past I could drag a note cross-staff without problem using Note Mover Tool. But now it doesn't function anymore. How can I solve this, or how can I get the Cross-Staff plug-in?

As always, if something used to work, but now it doesn't, try restarting the computer.

What OS are you running?

The TGTools plugin which comes with Finale sets up a macro for cross-staff notes. Not only does it move the note, it creates an invisible rest in the destination staff, if necessary, and it reverses the beam. This is certainly quicker than using the note mover and the special tools. It's invoked by selecting the note(s) and pressing Opt-arrow (up or down, depending).

TG tools disappeared from my Finale. How can I get it back?

If it was the TG Tools Lite that comes with Finale, you might have to reinstall. If it was the Pro version, you can get it at https://www.tgtools.com/index-en.htm
