I know I've done this before, but can't remember how... I have some lyrics that are changing size when I reduce even one notehead in a chord. How can I keep the lyric size constant when note sizes change? Finale 25 on a PC.

In the Lyrics Edit Window,

  1. highlight the text you want
  2. use the Text menu (in the lyrics edit panel) to select Font
  3. check the Fixed size checkbox for the font size you want.

Thank you! I knew there was fixed size option, just couldn't remember where.

Note that fixed-sized lyrics don't space well. Also, the lyric size does not change (for me) even when I reduce all of the "noteheads" in a chord. It will resize if you reduce the "note or rest."
