Finale closes regularly for no reason and starts again. I now work with version 26. Never before have I experienced that in previous versions. I have been working with Finale since 1994, this is my fourth version.
Other programs on my computer do not. What is going on?

This is not typical behavior. You may want to use the "Submit a request" link at the top of the page to query MakeMusic Support directly.

How old is your computer? What are it's specs? (It probably doesn't matter, but it might provide a clue.)
