Mac v.26.0.1

 

Is there a way to do individual barring and individual time signatures for different parts in a score? i.e. can one part be barred in 4/4 time while another part is in say 2/8,3/8,3/8 etc. so it has different bar lines and a different time signature but the 8th note is constant?

You might be able to fake it, but there is no feature (AFAIK) to do it for you.

Indeed it can be done, via clever workarounds.

Without knowing the actual music it can be difficult to suggest the best workaround.

The following example was done in Finale:
