How do you create a tie from a note going from a measure to a 1st and 2nd ending. The tie works fine in the 1st ending, but not the 2nd.
Do I have to use a slur marking?

Use the Speedy Entry Tool’s very technical dialog box Edit Frame:
Speedy Entry Tool.
Click outside the staff, to exit the entry rectangle.
Hold down CTRL, and click in the 2nd ending.
You get to the dialog box Edit Frame where you can select the option “Tie End” (look in the lower pane).

For me, the CTRL key does nothing - Finale 26, OS X 10.13.6
It would be great if ending ties worked automatically.... seems like an oversight that (on my setups anyway) they don't.
