Does anyone know how to increase the note accidentals?
I finally managed to learn to increase chord font size, as well as the chord suffixes. However, now my accidentals are so tiny that they are illegible. I use charts on professional gigs an this is a problem because my fellow musicians can't read the correct chords.
You mean “note accidentals” - and not “chord symbol accidentals”, right?
The note accidentals are scaled with the staff.
If the note accidentals are too tiny, then probably the staff (and everything on it) is too tiny, too.
Try the Resize Tool (icon: %).
Context-click.
In the context menu you have the items
Resize Page…
Resize System…
Resize Staff…
Resize Note or Rest…
Resize Notehead…
where {Resize Page…} means Scale Everything on Page… (not Change Page Size…).
Thanks Peter and Jeffrey! I mean to change the chord accidentals.
I tried the Doc>Fonts>Chord>Alteration. It seems that this option changes either A-the entire chord and not just the accidental. Or B- change the positioning of the accidental. I'll experiment with this method.
