This problem JUST started! When I started editing a tuplet, all the music except for the tuplet disappeared from the page.  In speedy edit the music appears and then disappears (except for the measure I have clicked on). In simple edit there is nothing visible at all.  This only happens on one page of the document (page 8). If I am on page 7, page 8 appears blank as soon as I use either one of the editing tools.  

I'm using a brand new MacBook Pro and running version 10.14.3 of Mojave. My version of Finale is 25.5.0.259.

Hi Elaine, 

 

It sounds like you may be encountering an issue that we have seen on Mac with Finale before. This typically has to do with having a particular set of grace notes on the page. There is a bug that will cause the page to go blank when attempting to edit it until you redraw the screen. Be aware that this does not affect what get's printed, this will look as expected. 

 

There are a couple of ways to mitigate the issue and get around it as a short term fix. You can either edit in Scroll View or you can remove the grace notes causing the issue and enter these at the end. If you do not think that this sounds like the issue you are experiencing, please use the Submit a Request option above and send in the document. We can then take a closer look.
