Rhythmic notation only shows empty measure

When I select rhythmic notation with "apply staff styles" it only shows an empty measure with a whole rest, no slash or stem. Anyone know what might be the problem? Thanks.

Windows 10, Finale 26.

HI Richard,

What rhythmic information is in the measure that you are applying the Rhythmic Notation Staff Style to? This Staff Style allows you to control the rhythmic notation by entering in the rhythm that you want first, using a standard entry method, and then applying the Staff Style to get the slashes and stems. Are you applying the Staff Style to blank measure? If so, you may want to use Slash Notation instead which will use the time signature to enter the slashes.

I tried to replicate the problem, but couldn't do it again. I think maybe the notes I had entered were in a layer other than 1. Does that make sense? Anyway, it doesn't seem to be a problem right now.
