I cannot get the indefinite pitch percussion to sound on the playback (in Finale 2008). The rhythm is good, but it sounds like a police whistle. If there is no correction, can I possibly resolve this by using Finale 2014 or 2014.5? I use Windows 7.
You appear to have a mismatch between your percussion layout and percussion map and the sound set you have chosen. If you hear the whistle, does that mean you are using MIDI sounds (or SoftSynth) as opposed to VST (Garritan) sounds?
