I've been having this issue for a while now. I've purchased Garritan Personal Orchestra 5. I use the pianos primarily. When I press the pedal effect, it works perfect. When I press record on my end, the pedal automatically drops and I'm left to record without the pedal. Now this might not be too bad, but I'm tired of using reverb effects to get the authentic sound to which the pedal effect provides on the plug-in. I'm on MacOS Mojave 10.14.6.
