I'm using Encore 5.0.6 (made by GVOX & Passport) and just bought Garritan Jazz and Big Band 3 to improv my midi sounds. I'm having a lot of trouble making it work. Some specific questions: 1. does the VST player in Encore have anything to do with using the Aria player? 2. In Encore Midi Device Settings, does each instrument need to be on a separate MIDI channel? 3. Should the Playback Device in Encore Midi Settings be set to Aria Player? 5. What are the Bank, MSB & LSB settings? 6. Does the Device Preset Type have any use? 7. In the blank 128 instrument boxes, do I select the same number as the JABB 3 midi channel with the correct instrument?
