While using Aria Player as a plugin for Anvil studio I saw that there was an updated version of the player engine. It was suggested that the best route was to download a new version of Aria Player.

I did that and now it’s not functioning correctly. I had been using it for several weeks both as plug in and standalone and the only problem I had encountered was that the voice names sometimes stopped updating in the 16 boxes near the top where the voice choices are made. I was hoping the update would fix this. It made it worse. Now those screens are totally blank (white).

In my current composition, the player still plays the sounds that were loaded the last time it ran correctly. The png images that are missing are stored in the GUI folder and I’m suspecting that the Player “forgot” where those files are. The path for GUI in the setup.xml file is correct, so I can’t figure it out. It’s making music but I can’t control anything.

I am running Arie Player v1.959 on a quality Windows 7 (32 bit) machine.

BTW, I noticed that the Aria_player.exe file is dated 2012, is that OK?.
