Hi all.  Just wondering if any of you can advise on this.  I just upgraded to v26 today and want to know if GPO5 actually augments the sound library for Finale v26

I have Finale 26.3 with GPO5 - MacOS 10.15.6 - Catalina. GPO is working, as I find, correctly.

Thanks but I was more referring to the case that I have never owned any GPO augmented sound library, just the sound library that comes built into the finale notation software and want to know if it's worth buying GPO 5.

I think, it’s worth - this library is very and useful extended. In general: it’s worth that to have. 🌞😮

GPO 5 will give you additional instruments to use, but the sounds will not be "better" than what you have now.  If you're happy with your current playback sounds, but need more choices, then GPO 5 will serve that purpose.

 

IMO, If you're looking for "better" sounds (I realize that "better" is subjective) then you should investigate NotePerformer.
