Mac or Windows?

How are you planning on using Finale?

Simple leadsheets or 2 hour full orchestra for an opera?

Is playback important? What sounds would you use, midi, Garritan or something else?

As far as printers, are you needing to print large, oversize scores and heavy stock paper or something else?

As you can see, the requirements are low — but that's just to run the app. As for everything else, what Jeffery asks.

And remember, that’s the minimum. I would double the RAM. It’s cheap enough.
