Hello!

I am running macOS Catalina 10.15.6 and Logic Pro X 10.5.1. I installed CFX Concert Grand Full 3 days ago and installed the samples to an external hard drive. The samples/presets worked fine for a couple of days, however every time I loaded a preset an error notified saying "Missing element in graph.com.Garritan.Aria.EQ". It did not seem to alter the productivity so I did not take much notice of it.

I managed to play and recoard several tracks over the next 2 days, however I woke up this morning to find an error when I attempted to load a preset:

No sound asset loaded

Not Found:

/Volumes/Untitled/CFX_Samples/X/noped/000/X_021_5092_0092031748_0004102C.audio

This is very peculiar, since I was able to load the presets just yesterday evening. It occurs with every preset I try to load. I have seen posts regarded re-writing directories, however I am not well-versed enough in the process of re-writing such directories to be confident in doing so at the moment. Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks

I'm having the exact same issue. Were you able to ever resolve this?? I am pretty savvy with customization so I even tried modifying the .plist file as per instruction given by here (https://makemusic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/217749158-Moving-your-Garritan-samples-folder-after-installation)

The player still tried to look for a folder that is different than what's in the property list file...

So I even did a fresh install and nope.... same error.

Very frustrating.

Help would be appreciated!

Thank you

Corey,

I figured it out! At least for me, this is what I did to get it fixed.

The instruction above tells you to go Library/Preferences.... Make sure to also go and check your users library folder. ~/Library/Preferences

So basically, check these two directories and edit the com.Garritan plist files.

1. Machintosh HD/Library/Preferences

2. MachintoshHD/<username>/Library/Preferences

Hope this helps others as well!
