Question?

How can you add a key signature to a score after you compose it.

I know what key signature I need, its E flat Major.

By placing the key signature E flat Major into score it double Flats on all note that already have Flat marking.

The plugin JW Change Pitches will let you do it, easily.

But for my own enlightenment, why did you compose it without a key signature? (I’m not criticizing! I’m not a composer, and I’m curious.)

From your description it sounds like you need a key signature, but no change in the pitches - right?

In Other Words:

Finale should Hold Notes to Original Pitches Chromatically - right?

That option is available in the dialog box Key Signature:
