Try recreating the Preference files.

Hello Mr. Rosen,

I would try something like that, but I can't seem to find anything that says "Preference". I've checked all the usual places, File, Edit, Help, etc... I can't find a file in the setup called preferences either.

Perhaps its in a different location?

Do a search for Troubleshooting. Go to that page. From there, look at topic number 8 in the General Troubleshooting section.
