Working with Finale 27, Windows 10, I have a score with 18 staves, 118 measures long. I have flute, oboe, clarinet at top. When I paste an already created trumpet 1 part into the score, the key signatures automatically change to a key higher on a lot of the other instrumental staves. Why?

Is the trumpet part in the same key as the original piece you are pasting in to? If not, that is why.

Is the trumpet part you are pasting in already transposed?

Is the score you are pasting it into being displayed as a transposed score or a concert score?

Are you pasting your trumpet part into an instrument set in Score Manager as Trumpet in Bb or Trumpet in C?
