I have been using finale with an external monitor.  I'm not at home now and working on my laptop screen without the external monitor.  I need to open the score manager but I cannot find it on the screen!  It is as if Finale is opening the window in some "place" not visible on my laptop screen.  Any suggestions for how to make it appear on the screen?

My guess is that the Preferences file is the culprit.

 

In the Finale Preferences there is an option to reset Finale’s Preferences.

If that (Reset Preferences) step does not bring the ScoreManager back, then quit Finale, remove the Preferences file, and launch Finale again.

Since the Preferences file is missing, Finale will create a fresh, new Preferences file.

If George has the ability to change his screen resolution to allow more screen to show at a smaller size. Using that capability would allow him to retrieve his lost panel(s) and then restore his screen size without losing his preferences.
