I had the same problem occurring specifically after using the tuplet tool ! I use the same OS system on a Mac mini M1.

I am not having any issue with this on either my iMac Pro or my M1, both over Monterey 12.5. My Preferences are set up as in MikeR's post.

Well, now I am in a darker place ! 

It started with problems connecting my audio unit (Vienna ensemble on a server computer) and now it seems totally corrupt.

After a few crashes when I was opening any file (apple was then producing a report), now I cannot open the application at all. Finale appears on the menu for a second and disappear !

I have tried in safe mode, I rebooted macOS Monterey 12.5 (without erasing the content of my computer), I rebooted Finale 27.0.0.782 AND 27.2.0.142 and NIET ! Finale won't open. I also made sure that Rosetta 2 is running...

Any idea before I rebuild my computer from scratch ? :-(

Finale won’t work when a Mac is in Safe Mode — almost nothing does. It rebuilds System paths and Caches to Default, among other things. You must reboot again when done.

I often recommend Safe Mode when diagnosing Mac problems. My instructions always include rebooting when done.

I finally rebuild the hole thing from scratch and everything is like in the old days now (back to V27.0.0.782)

Things when quite wrong and I am not in a hurry for any update ! My system will be close for a while !
