I can't export midi files. The dropdown menu in "file" only gives me the option of notation file, not midi as "help" suggests will be there. Saved midi file appears under VLC but I can't find it when I open that programme. Windows 11, Finale 26
Are you selecting "Export" (not "Save As")? It should give you these options, and once you click on "MIDI File" it will open a window so you can give it a name and a location where you can then find it.
