Hi Karsten. The reason is it's more complicated to implement latency compensation than to eliminate input delay. I'm sure they're working on it ... :)

I'm not on Mac, but I think the first thing to try is to delete/rename/move the preferences file. It will rebuild itself next time you launch Finale.
