I learned to use a version of Finale in the 80's - for mostly instrumental adaptions, writing descants, and realizing figured bass for organists. From 2000 to 2017 I taught high school mathematics. I'm now back to church music and Finale has been valuable in writing / arranging bell music for use during COVID for 6 ringers/6 stands as well as adapting music for beginning players. Now I'm trying to adapt lyrics to various 4 part shaped-note pieces. Entering those lyrics can be frustrating.
