    Mike Thanks.  I'll think I'll just put them on an external hard drive if that is OK.  Or would the DVD+R work any better?  They do take up a lot of space on one's hard drive and it would be helpful...

    Thanks for your note.  The file is named  Finale2014dMacFull.dmg and is is 1.83GB in size I also have another one  Finale2012bMacUpdatee.dmg   157.7mb.  I suspect that could definitely go as it is ...
