Steven, I’m curious about your take on the lyric tool. I certainly haven’t seen any long-requested (and long-promised) improvements, but I haven’t seen any backsliding, either, over the past decade.
Don’t. I’m not sure that F27 will even run on El Capitan. And so far, I haven’t seen anything worth upgrading for.
Make sure you are in layer 4 when you try to select and delete them. Double-clicking on a lyric should put you in the correct verse and layer. If you like, send the doc to me and I’ll have a look...

Fix the faults in the UI, first. Then, and only then, will I be open to new “features.” David and Ben, were you not invited this time? Were they keeping all testing in-house?
All fixed. She was trying to do it via the SmartShape options, rather than the Custom Line options. Everybody happy!
In playback controls, is it set to play to the end of the song? Does it play through in the finale file? Are you allowing the export enough time to finish?
Open the musx file. File > Export > Audio File…
