The 4-bar repeat is available in Jazz, and many other "handwritten" fonts. It can be applied as an expression.

SongWriter has the German chord style in the Chord menu.

Are you changing them from the % tool, or from the Utilities > Change > menu? If you use the % Tool, right-click on a note or rest, and choose Resize Note or Rest... If you do it the second way...
