Why do you need to split 200 measures? Can you show us an example? Except in hymnals, I have found split measures to be rare.

I believe that the figured bass and the numerics fonts were designed to work with the lyrics tool, not the text tool. That would probably eliminate the problems you are having.

You can set measure attributes to not include in measure numbers. I’m not sure what you mean in the second request. Can you try to explain, again? Remember, you can always split measures manually...
