Several staves have a mysterious Eb3 sounding when I play back.    The note is not in any staff in that measure, yet the AudioUnit is sounding the note for a couple measures until the note is encountered again.  I don't see the note in the MIDI Tool either. This is BAD, I need to finish this project in a couple of days and don't have time to chase rabbits!!!  Anyone experience this sort of thing?

update: When I export a MIDI file, the errant Eb3 is in several tracks(staves). But not all of them.  How do I find them and delete them?

It appears to happen when I add a Glissando Smart Shape and copy it to another staff, or transpose the notes.  Removing the Glissando Smart Shape removes the errant note.

This sounds as if you are encountering a keyswitch (a note outside the normal range of the instrument that the VST uses to set a playback quality, like legato, arco or pizz). If so, you need to match the MIDI data with a VST or Human Playback setting that can read the keyswitch and filter its sound from playback.

You need to think where the MIDI file came from and what VST/Instrument combo was used to play it back originally.

Thanks, but the notes sounding are not keyswitch notes.  Eb3 would never be used for a keyswitch(maybe a set of really low basses?) :-).   I'm entering the notes with Speedy Entry and Copy/Paste, I haven't added any keyswitches myself.  The problem seems to be connected to adding a glissando, then copy/pasting notes.  But I haven't been able to identify exactly what's going on.
