1) Are you asking about the expression texts?

If the text expressions are already created, then you can program metatools for them.

To program a metatool for an expression:

a. You must be in the Expression Tool.

b. Hold down the Shift key, and hit the computer keyboard key you want to program as metatool trigger key, e. g. the letter D key as trigger key for ‘divisi’.

Finale displays the Expression Selection.

Select the desired expression (e. g. the ‘divisi’ expression).

Form now on the letter D key will work as metatool key for ‘divisi’.

While holding down the letter D key, drag across the staff, or click the staff.

By The Way:

The correct Italian words are ‘divisi’ and ‘uniti’. However, many musicians do not know Italian very well, and you will see ‘unis.’ in many scores where the word correctly should have been ‘uniti’.

2) Or are you asking whether Finale has a keyboard shortcut to, locally increase / decrease the number of staves?

In that case the answer is ‘no’.

I have two music degrees and have not heard 'uniti' until now - though it makes perfect sense. Live and learn.
