Windows 10 & 11, Finale 27+

In the past, I have seen many posts--including my own--that ask how to stop (turn off) the harp from rolling chords, which is the default for the instrument.

I have an audio file that I Exported from Finale in September, this year, that has the harp rolling chords.

Now, that same file, with the same instruments, play the chords like a piano, i.e. "flat."

What happened? I don't know if I changed a setting in HP or somewhere else, but I would like to return to the default.

Here are screenshots to show some of my settings. (BTW--the same happens regardless of the "style" I select.

BTW--

I have tried all of the harps from Garritan, but I had used (and prefer) the "Harp 1 KS" with success in the past.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I have read the manual and using the Articulation option does work.

However, in the past "rolled" chords for the harp were automatic, it was the default.

In other words, with any chord of three notes or more, the play back would be rolled, without having to apply the articulation.

For some reason, this stopped happening.

As I stated in my post, I have an audio file that I had exported from Finale back in September in which the rolled chords are clearly heard. Then, that same Finale file, and all the other files with harp, stopped the rolled playback.

Guess this is something for "Support?"

OK!

Thank you all for your feedback and suggestions.

It turns out my problem was rather simple to fix.

Harps Human Playback does not function in "Standard" mode, but does in Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and 21st Century.
IF
the Human Playback settings for "MIDI Data" is set correctly.

SO
I set the HP to "HP (Incorporate Data) for all the options under MIDI Data and any of the above choices.

I'm not sure what each of the settings does, but this does work for me.

BTW--often I want the harp to NOT roll, so this is handy. If in a piece that requires both, I choose "Standard" and then the Articulation for roll when needed.
Thank you all for your help!
