I have to create different copies of a choral piece using two standard methods for printing.  Example:

Piano style:

SATB Style:

Can anyone provide advice on how I might manually create one of these and then copy to the other?

JW Staff Polyphony. You can get it at finaletips.nu. Be sure to download the correct version for 32 or 64 bit windows, whichever you have.

 

If it were me, I would do the 4-part version first, using the repitch tool where possible. You can also use the repitch tool for the two staff version; I just find it easier when the staves are split.

Thanks.  I already have JW Staff Polyphony installed so I will give this a try soon and comment on status.  I have been using Finale since 1993 but only on very rare occasions so it is still very complicated for me to understand everything I need to do.
