OS: Mac 10.9.5, Finale 2012. With the caps lock on, when I press on a number to enter multiple notes of a certain value, I do not see the number in the frame nor am I able to enter multiple notes using MIDI input. Instead the computer inputs the pitch that corresponds to the cursor position. How do I fix this to enter multiple sixteenth notes of various pitches?

Hmmm... sounds like you are doing it correctly. Something in your preferences is not set right—check your settings against the user guide.

I don't have 2012 so I can't tell you exactly where to look. Perhaps someone else will know and post.

Just downloaded a Finale 2009 version on my home computer, which is a Mac 10.13.6. When I try to use the Speedy Entry and press 4 for eighth note value, the first note shows as an eighth but the second one turns everything else to quarter notes. However, when I accidentally found that the version was saved in my Finale Notepad file, it read exactly as I had input it. I continued, very slowly however, and would check and edit in the Notepad version. The problem lies in that one cannot extract parts or print from Notepad, therefore the score is basically useless. Any suggestions on getting the Speedy Entry problem fixed?
