Hello, 

I am using Finalev25 with Mac OS X El Capitan.

I would like to do batch instrument changes with FinaleScript. I am able to select the instrument, open menu item "Utilities > Change Instrument" but I am unable to select a new instrument.

I have experimented using select, press, and list. I was wondering if there is anything unique with the nested lists, i.e. Ensemble > Instrument Family > Instrument, and how one would go about selecting a new instrument.

Credit to Daniel Firlej (Finale forum contributor) who helped me out with this via email!

select first staff
menu item "Utilities\Change instrument..."
left arrow
down arrow
right arrow
down arrow
return
 
This should have worked in theory (using arrows to navigate between instruments) but my computer kept logging error sounds.
 
This was the key piece of info:
You must have "All Controls" option enabled in System Preferences->Keyboard and mouse->keyboard shortcuts (On Mac)
