I have finale print music 2014 OS Mac and it is set to automatically update. I was having problems with playback and a few other things so I thought I would manually check for an update. When I checked for an update it says I have version 2014.1.1165 and that version 2014.5.0.23 is available. The only options it give me it to "skip this version" "remind me later" or "learn more". When I click on learn more it takes more to the PrintMusic user manual with the error message "AccessDeniedAccess Denied6F01E7866ADFDD8CT2CpBVRx7FYn5EwYjLBmsxvTMGCq+yNLOmNZXzbCKAtrxyR1GsMQt2+6y13UREcHNCeZZSmhDx4=" Help anyone???

Hi Amy,

 

It does look like that page in the user manual is broken. I have gone ahead and reported that to our documentation team. Fortunately, you can still update to PrintMusic 2014.5. Please follow the steps below to do so:

 

1. Log into your MakeMusic account here.

2. Click the green Download button to the right of the PrintMusic 2014 (may say 2014.5) section. The installer that downloads will be the installer for PrintMusic 2014.5.

3. Find the installer (MacDiskInstaller_2014.5.24.0.dmg) in your Downloads folder and run it. You do not need to uninstall or deauthorize PrintMusic 2014 before running the installer.

4. Once you have completed the installer, restart your computer.

 

PrintMusic 2014.5 will not remove PrintMusic 2014, but will install as a separate application. Please be sure to run PrintMusic 2014.5 from your Applications folder; you can also drag the application to your applications dock for later use.
