my computer was hacked and wiped clean of everything on it.  

a tecnician was able to restore back up files and clean my system.

I tried to download my finale notepad ...which as an 86 year old who still teaches music to little kids is important to me.  But it wont open .

 

help please

Hi Maureen,

 

This sounds like you may actually may be missing an operating system DLL file. Here is a knowledge base article that goes into a little more detail: https://makemusic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/217559178-Missing-dll-errors.

 

Ultimately, you may wish to contact Windows Support or check back with your technician to see if they can provide you with the missing file.
