Finale 25 Template-Parts

I have recently upgraded to v.25 and utilized a band template. I have the following issues/questions:

1. When I go to print, nothing is listed in the print box. (no score or parts are listed)

2. The template has the parts shown in the small format for flip folders. Can I change it to full Portrait layout? When I attempt this and re-generate parts, all kinds of odd things happen. Example: The template has Clarinet staffs, 1 & 2/3. The part simply generates as "1" with no clarinet in the title. I am sure I could go through and manually edit every part title, etc. when re-generating, but thought that I may be missing an easier way to change the part page size from folio to letter.

Finale v25 comes with 8 band templates.

Which band template are you talking about?

To change the Page Format for the linked parts, go to

Document menu > Page Format > Parts…

and change the settings as desired.

You will not see any immediately change in the document’s linked parts.

To update with the new settings, either

- generate parts again,

- use the command

Page Layout menu > Redefine Pages > …

to update individual parts, one at a time.

Your issue with the part names needs further investigation.

Take a look in the Score Manager, in the chiclet Instrument List.

Are the part names correct there?
